Introducing the PackshotCreator software version 16

We are delighted to announce the version 16 of PackshotCreator software. With brand new powerful features, this version allows our users to expand product photography productivity.

New Swatch feature

Display the available colors and textures of your products by creating swatches. The new Swatching feature on the PackshotCreator software, allows you to easily select a region on the captured photo and automatically save it as a swatch. You can choose their shape, size, and name and save them with their related images. The software also lets you memorize these settings for future uses.

 

 

AutoMask Improvements

We improved our automatic background removal feature AutoMask to provide to our users a more effective feature. Before, our users were able to remove the background of their product photos in one step. In the version 16 of the PackshotCreator software, new tools were added to make the background removal process more dynamic.

The new AutoMask tools

In order to give our users a superior experience while using our AutoMask feature, we added all the tools available in the AutoMask Recovery in one single interface. Now, during the image taking process, our users have the possibility to instantly make adjustments and re-apply a background removal algorithm.

We also added a brand new background removal algorithm called “Mixed”. This new algorithm allows users to remove the background of products with different attributes, such as transparent and reflective, and obtain exceptional results.

 

 

Bottle Lifting kit

Easily photograph bottles and glassware on transparent backgrounds thanks to our new Bottle Lifting kit. This accessory provides users the capability of keeping the perfect level of transparency in the glass while photographing them. You can then add a colorful or customized background to express your brand’s aesthetic.

 

 

Video Sequencing feature

Automate the creation of your product videos with our new Video Sequencing feature. With this feature, you can determine in advance the actions of your different clips. Then, your PackshotCreator 360 photo studio or turntable motion the product and control the camera location to capture each clip in the defined sequence. When the sequence is done, you can directly edit and combine these product clips into a single MP4 or MOV video file.

Take advantage of the software presets or register your own customized capturing, editing and saving settings to automate and quicken upcoming projects. Save these single product clips as well to use in other video editing programs such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
