How to highlight a transparent object with a 360 animation, a video or a photo 💎

First of all, pay attention to the cleanliness of your object, wipe with a rag to remove any fingerprints or dust.

Now, position your object in the center of the studio turntable using the laser or the center point. For this tutorial we will be using a perfume bottle. 📍

Click on the AI icon to activate the AI assistant. Artificial intelligence will analyze your product and offer various optimized lighting settings. This step simplifies the preparations.

The assistant will then suggest 4 settings templates different. From the “Models” tab located on the left side of the interface, choose from the 4 light environments offered. 💡

These options can vary from soft lighting to a sharper, more contrasting ambiance. You can always change and adjust the settings according to your preferences to add your own personal touch.

✨ Advice : try a soft atmosphere that subtly highlights curves and reflections.

Adjust ISO sensitivity, aperture, and shutter speed. Save your changes as reusable templates for simplify your future photo shoots. 📂

Activate IQ Mask, which will allow you to obtain an animation automatically cropped of your object. Using the light adjustment sliders, adjust the opacity of the transparent mask, your object must be more or less black, knowing that the white part of the photo will be removed to make room for transparency.

Click on the “360°” button, then choose the number of images per rotation between 24 and 360. To ensure good fluidity in record time, we recommend 24 frames per animation. You can also choose the direction of rotation of the platter. 🔄

If you want to make a video, click on “video” and on the “Custom Length” and “Constant” buttons to get A loop, that is to say an infinite video. You will be able to create a GIF from this video and extract photos from it. ♾️

✨ Advice : Perform a test photo before starting the full animation (or video) to verify that the IQ Mask is set correctly.

Retouching is an essential step to enhance the final visual. With the Orbitvu Station software you can:
