Rotation and suction system: all your products, no support
The PackshotMacro DIS turntable is composed of the best rotation technology to realize multi-views or 360° animations.
The alliance between the asynchronous gear and the absolute encoder offers a fluid rotation to the finest and lightest products. The backlit turntable combined to the AutoMask feature makes the background removal easy: for 2D, multi-views or 360 animations, and also for vertical animations.
Make the stones shine
The turntable can also move on a horizontal axis and make the gemstones tilt. This movement will reveal reflections and sparkles of the finest stones.
In order to obtain the best reflections on the set stones and diamonds, it is possible to control the studio turntable from the software to the nearest degree, from left to right, but also from bottom to top. This makes it easy to get the right angle and the best reflections on the piece photographed.
Make the rings stand out
To enhance the rotation technology and get the best possible visuals, a unique suction system is integrated in the PackshotMacro DIS. The suction basis is placed in the absolute center of the turntable and maintains all types of rings up, without vibrations and supports. Centering the products is way easier and permits to create an homogeneous and elegant smooth rotation.
The editing step to remove visible stands is entirely skipped and offers an outstanding time gain for the production of your visuals.
Lighting that meets your requirements
The PackshotMacro DIS lighting is composed of two different color temperatures. This Dual Lighting technology helps to best transpose the different colors and shades of gemstones, and the materials used for your creations. Bring to light the purity of gold, the fineness of silver, or the depth of sapphire.
Precise and complete lighting
Gradable from 1 to 100%, the backlight of the photo studio illuminates dot per dot gemstones and lets appear every details: cut, inclusions. The lighting is super precise thanks to the twelve diffused light sources in the photo studio. With this specific lighting, it is easy to spotlight the 4C of gemstones: the lights permit to have a faithful color, and reveal their cut and clarity due to the multiple lighting sources.
Sparkle LED for sparkling views
Thanks to the four Sparkle LED, it is possible to have an additional front lighting source. Non-diffused lighting, the Sparkle LED makes stand out the sparkles and reveals the facets of diamonds, precious stones for still pictures, or even 360° animations.

The PackshotMacro DIS is a complete system, and fully evolving. Included in the package, the Loose Diamond Kit is a set of professional accessories dedicated to diamonds and precious stones photography. Its components offer the possibility to highlight in different ways the stones:

Matrices
They make the lights pass through the stones from one side to the other and thus obtain the three following views according to the intensity of the light: the fire, the sparkle, and the brilliance of a stone.

Ideal Scope
Coupled with the suction system that holds the stone vertically, it allows you to focus the light in a single direction and obtain the Hearts and Arrows of the stones. With the Custom Define feature, capture automatically the front and back views.

A comprehensive software for perfectionists
The PackshotCreator software is packed with a multitude of features that allow you to combine productivity, precision, and diversity when creating visuals. In perfect harmony with the PackshotMacro DIS, you will be able to manage all the studio technologies with ease.
The PackshotCreator engineers have integrated lighting presettings into the software to help you highlight your different colored stones: emeralds, rubies, diamonds, topaz… A total of seven presets, each with three different intensities to illuminate your creations and stones in the best possible way.
Hyperfocus with background removal
With the Hyperfocus feature combined with one of the three background removal features (AutoPNG, AutoBKG, AutoMask), it is possible to create a perfectly sharp 2D or 360° animation on a transparent background. This unique combination of two features that are important in jewelry and stone photography saves a great amount of time: no more manual focus stacking, no more manual background removal.
QuickShot feature
The best way to achieve brilliant reflections on the multiple facets of the stones is to have the maximum of images combined in an animation to capture every sparkle. With the QuickShot feature, the software will use a special technique to get a large number of pictures in record time. In 360 mode, the creation of an animation of 512 pictures takes only 7’30!
EVOLVING SYSTEM
MacroSphere
With the MacroSphere, your point of view becomes accurate, fluid, and most importantly: simple. This arch is positioned on the PackshotMacro DIS and helps you to get standardized and homogeneous series of visuals. Either you’re shooting rings or necklaces, find back the right angle, with an accuracy of one degree. Go further and create spherical or hemispherical animations.
PackshotSpin Jewelry
The PackshotSpin Jewelry turntable creates animations and videos of your hanging jewels with a perfect accuracy. The two-step motor offers an asynchronous rotation and provides a regular and perfectly fluid. Result: animations and videos of jewels, gemstones, watches, totally realistic and smooth, which is not possible with other turntables.
MacroStand
Find thep perfect angle to shoot gemstones and speed up your photo shoots demonstrating accuracy and precision with the MacroStand. This camera support, composed of three parts, is adjustable in height and distance on a rail, with an accuracy of one millimeter. The tripod head of the MacroStand, with its three positioning settings, holds the camera. Using the micrometric handles, rotate the camera from 0 to 90°, tilt it sideways and from bottom to top by 20 to 90°.
Macro Sliding Diffusion Arm
These sliding diffusion arms allows you to control the light reflections on your jewelry and gemstones photos, as well as 360° animations and videos.
Macro Acrylic Reflection Controller
When shooting reflective jewelry and gemstones, this exclusive accessory will not only allow you to reduce the reflections, but also make these reflections smoother and give a more delicate aspect to the photographed jewelry and gemstones.
